The Council provides a haven for students of all socio-economic backgrounds to expand their knowledge of political, economic and social developments around the world, as well as gain work experience in the non-profit sector.  Last summer, we hosted interns from throughout Central Pennsylvania, including high school and college students. Students engaged in teleconferences with people around the world, including in Egypt, Tunisia and Afghanistan.  They also organized the annual International Young Leaders Conference that attracted students from throughout the region to the day-long event at Harrisburg University.
