2022 International Peace Symposium | People Under Siege

About the Event

Every year the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg hosts the International Peace Symposium. This year’s event took place at Elizabethtown College. Each symposium focuses on a different topic and this year we focused on People Under Siege and brought in esteemed panelists and speakers to talk about this important and timely topic. You can see a list of our panelists below.

Along with holding a panel discussion we also honored the Peacemakers in Our Midst award winners. These groups are examples of leadership and civility in our community. Our summer interns became the latest members of our Global Scholars certificate program and we were excited to acknowledge their work throughout our internship program with this award.
