Come join us for a statewide event in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the state’s premier advocate in fostering equal opportunity on October 17, 2023 at 11:30 AM.
“Peace and Justice in PA” is part of PA Media Group’s “live journalism” event series and will examine PA’s current state of affairs around diversity, equity and inclusion. In particular, we’ll provide a look at efforts to counter extremism and hate groups in our state and how to support the people and organizations that are leading the response.

Candacy TaylorAuthor, photographer and cultural documentarianCandacy Taylor is an award-winning author, photographer and cultural documentarian working on a multidisciplinary project based on the Green Book. Taylor is the author of Overground Railroad: The Green Book and the Roots of Black Travel in America (Abrams Books). She is also the curator and content specialist for an exhibition that will is being toured by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) from 2020-2025.
