These are the most common symptoms associated with Covid-19
- Fever
- A dry cough
- New loss of taste or smell
- Shortness of breath

- Body aches and/or chills
What to do if you have symptoms
If you are experiencing one or more of the above symptoms here is what you should do next:
- Get a test to check if you have coronavirus as soon as possible.
- You and anyone you live with should stay at home and not have visitors until you get your test result – only leave your home to have a test.
- If it is not possible to get a test, stay home and isolate for at least 5 days
You can still have Covid without symptoms
- Asymptomatic cases are common, making it difficult to know whether you have Covid
- If you have come into contact with someone you KNOW has Covid stay isolated for 5 days or until you have a negative test result
