“Faiz Sharif, age 6, was seriously injured at the Kipona festival in Harrisburg, PA, on Sept. 1 when a reckless driver drove into a crowd of pedestrians. He sustained multiple life-threatening injuries and has already undergone several emergency surgeries. Faiz is receiving expert care, however, will require extensive ongoing medical procedures and specialized care. The family faces a long and uncertain road ahead.
As Faiz begins this journey, his parents are doing everything possible to support his healing. While they focus on his care, they are also navigating the immense emotional and practical challenges that come with such a traumatic event. The support, prayers, and kindness of friends, family, and the broader community have brought comfort, but the challenges ahead remain daunting.”
