The Peace Symposium is an annual day-long conference featuring internationally recognized experts as well as local community leaders working to bridge differences, promote appreciation of diverse cultures and create peaceful societies in Central PA and beyond.

Dr. Zied Mehrisi, Tunisian-American Young Professionals, provided information about the beginnings of the Arab Spring to English speakers around the world during the Tunisian Revolution. He was keynote speaker over lunch and provided insights into how Tunisia’s Revolution was more peaceful than those that followed in the heralded “Arab Spring.”
