Dr. David Kenley (Ph.D. University of Hawai’i, M.A. University of Utah, B.A. Brigham Young University) has been at Elizabethtown College since 2004. His research focuses on the history of Asia, particularly modern China. Recently, he has focused his attention on China’s influence in Cuba and brings a unique perspective to the discussions of Cuba and the U.S. Dr. Kenley currently is writing a history of the Church of the Brethren missionaries in China in the early twentieth century.
