The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg held a Walk Against Hate on Sunday, Oct 10th. We had members of several local organizations (The Civic Club of Harrisburg, The Red Rose Foundation, and Heartshine) who came out to share their messages of love for all people. Faith and community leaders gave speeches on the rise of hate and discrimination around the world, especially during this pandemic. There was also a vaccine clinic provided by Raj Katla and the Derry Street Pharmacy, for any who wished to get vaccinated. It was a wonderful event that really highlighted how important it is to bring our communities together, to fight the Coronavirus.
