About The Event
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg sponsored a conference featuring distinguished guest speakers to discuss the struggles and triumphs of women around the world. Issues discussed included: the plight of women in Turkey, the necessity of acknowledging the intersectional nature of solutions, and how equity within society can only be achieved by all members of society coming together for a better future.
