The State of Mental Health: The Elderly
Join us on July 17th at Millersville University for a free forum on mental health and the elderly. This free forum aims to shed light on the unique challenges faced by senior citizens in maintaining their mental well-being and to explore strategies for promoting positive mental health among this vulnerable population. By bringing together doctors, experts, and community members, we hope to foster a supportive environment where knowledge, experiences, and insights can be shared.
Refreshments will be served.

Dr. Shaun CookAssociate Professor, Ph.D. Cognition and Neural Systems
I am a cognitive neuropsychologist with similar research and teaching interests. Generally, I am interested in how healthy aging, brain damage, or neurological disease affects cognitive function, most notably memory. My research goals include detailing how memory functions and then using that information to develop strategies or programs aimed at improving the memory of those who have experienced a decline in memory ability.
