The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg is organizing a trip to Washington, DC to visit the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates and the Turkish Cultural Organization.
The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates will host lunch at their beautiful building and give a presentation on their country with a Q & A session with Embassy officials.
With a mission to promote better understanding and foster friendship between the peoples of Turkey and the U.S., the Turkish Cultural Organization has invited the Council to their facilities for tea.
Date and Time: June 7th, 2014
Departure from Messiah Village, Village Commons Entrance at 7:00 a.m., return to Messiah Village by 7:00 p.m.
Departure from Landis Homes, Harvest View Entrance at 8:00 a.m., return to Landis Homes by 6:00 p.m.
Registration Deadline: May 31th, 2014
Cost: $195/person; $185/person for couples
(Cost includes Premiere Limousine round trip transportation to Washington, DC, delicious lunch at the UAE Embassy, tea and dessert at the Turkish Center, as well as tours and presentations!)
