Academic WorldQuest

Academic WorldQuest is the World Affairs Councils of America’s flagship youth education program. It is a lively, fast-paced team competition for high school students.

This event challenges teams of four to combine wits and correctly answer multiple-choice questions on global topics. The winning team will advance to the national Academic WorldQuest organized by the World Affairs Councils of America.

There will be 10 rounds. Each round will have 10 multiple choice questions. A prominent moderator will present these questions by PowerPoint. Teams then confer to reach a single answer. Each round is thematically different from the other rounds.

A team consists of 4 high school students. Smaller teams may be allowed upon consultation.

  • One team: $50.00
  • Two teams: $75.00
  • Three teams: $100.00
  • Four teams & above: $30 per team
